  • Early Detection Health Fair

    Hosted by Gateway to Hope, the Alzheimer's Association, and the YMCA Community members are invited to take a proactive step toward better health at the Early Detection Health Fair! The free event is designed to reduce health risks, improve overall wellness, and help individuals identify treatment options through early detection. A variety of no-cost health screenings and services will be available to the public throughout the afternoon. Screenings and services offered include: Mobile mammograms provided by Saint Francis Healthcare Cognitive screenings by Missouri Delta Hearing screenings Blood pressure checks Diabetes (glucose) screenings Cholesterol screenings Additional wellness screenings and health resources Attendees may schedule a mammogram appointment between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. by calling Gateway to Hope at (573) 550-7306. Gateway to Hope will also be on-site offering free support services during the eventt. In addition to health screenings, free food distribution from SEMO Food Bank will be available, sponsored by Home State Health. One box of food will be provided per family while supplies last.

    Hosted by Haystack MRD by Quest Diagnostics The Walk for Hope, presented by Haystack MRD by Quest Diagnostics, is where we unite supporters across our community to provide health, healing & hope for any patient who enters our Siteman Cancer Center - St. Peters. Regardless of your pace or path, when you join the walk, you're taking steps to support the future of cancer care in St. Charles County. The Walk for Hope is an inspiring, family-friendly event and will consist of a 1-mile fun walk followed by a health and resource fair. As we build this symbol of hope that unites people behind the mission of the Barnes-Jewish St. Peters & Progress West Foundation, we will also provide access to health and healing resources in our area. Keep the celebration going with some Family Fun happening outside of the Siteman Cancer Center at our Health & Resource Fair.     Hosted by the Karen Weidinger Foundation The 21st Annual Karen 4 a Kause offers fun for all ages with a 5K, 1 mile walk/run and a Children's Mad Dash for Kids 10 and under. This year's event is on Saturday, May 9th in beautiful Frontier Park in St. Charles, Missouri. All participants in the 5K are timed and are eligible for age group awards. All registered 5K and 1-mile entrants receive a customized event t-shirt and a chance to win attendance prizes. Funds raised support Gateway to Hope's mission to remove barriers to affordable, timely, quality breast healthcare, and empower people to live full and healthy lives.
