There will also be free haircuts, Veteran’s services, vouchers for driver’s licenses and birth certificates, peer recovery coaches, workforce development information, enrollment for Medicaid, food stamps, disability, and unemployment services.

Project Connect is made possible through a collaborative partnership between CHART, Compass Health Network, Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare and The Pediatric Place Family First Initiative, with support from ToRCHLink funding. More than 50 organizations and agencies will be on-site to connect community members with a wide range of services and assistance, all in one convenient location. Available services will include: Dental screenings and extractions Food stamp assistance Haircuts Health and mental health screenings Legal aid Medicaid enrollment and renewals Substance use disorder resources Unemployment services Veteran services Workforce development resources And more All services are provided free of charge. No insurance or appointments are required. A complimentary lunch will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for event participants.
