As part of Gateway to Hope’s Mission to serve women across the state, we’re excited to host a day of education, support, and resources in Northwest Missouri on August 20!
We’re partnering with the Missouri Cancer Alliance and local healthcare provider Dr. Amy Patel for the Northwest Missouri Breast Health Symposium and Community Resource Fair, a showcase of the region’s best health and wellness information and services. The event will be held at The Elms Hotel & Spa in Excelsior Springs.
Community organizations will provide a wide range of resources and real-time support related to breast health, cancer care, genetic testing, health insurance, and more. Local doctors and experts will also be on hand to lead interactive learning sessions, answer questions about breast health, and make meaningful connections with attendees. You can even get a breast cancer screening on-site, thanks to the Masonic Cancer Center Mammography Van!
This kind of event can make a real difference for women in your community.
We hope you’ll join us in Excelsior Springs on August 20th! But if you can’t attend the event, there are still ways to get involved:
1. Donate to our Patient Financial Assistance Program. With your support, we can ensure anyone who wants to attend won’t have to ask, “How do I get there?” Even a small contribution can help provide gas cards or arrange transportation.
2. Share this with someone you know. If a friend, neighbor, or co-worker could benefit from this event, please share this event on social media. One simple act could help someone access a lifesaving breast cancer screening.
